Across manufacturing, logistics, aviation, food and beverage, data centers, advanced equipment, infrastructure operations, and industrial systems, companies are facing the same question:
How do we build the technician capacity needed to deploy, operate, maintain, and scale modern systems?
Within roughly 50 miles of CVG, Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana operate as one connected industrial corridor. Advanced manufacturing, aviation, logistics, automotive, food and beverage, chemicals, materials, automation, and industrial systems all converge here — and all depend on technicians to keep the region moving.
CVG alone generates more than $10.5 billion in annual regional economic impact, with 70+ employers on campus, more than 16,000 badged employees, and more than 56,000 total jobs supported.
But the real issue is operational: the region needs technicians to install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize the systems that power production, logistics, aviation, mobility, healthcare technology, and industrial growth.
These roles span maintenance, mechatronics, multi-craft, electro-mechanical, instrumentation, automation, controls, SCADA, robotics, CNC, industrial maintenance, field service, fleet, and diesel.
That is why we are convening the CVG Technician Roundtable: an industry-led Technician Economy™ activation focused on helping employers convert technician demand into skilled technician capacity.
This is not a traditional workforce meeting. It is a working session for employers and regional partners ready to make technician demand visible, align training to real roles, reduce fragmentation, and move candidates into skilled technician jobs with advancement potential.
We invite you to join us in shaping the technician infrastructure needed to support one of the Midwest’s most important industrial corridors.
