Chocolate Tasting and Watercolor Workshop

​Taste With Color is a hands‑on chocolate tasting where we explore flavor through color rather than complicated tasting terms. You’ll taste four chocolates, use the Taste With Color flavor map to choose the colors each flavor evokes, and then create simple watercolor paintings inspired by your impressions. NO PAINTING EXPERIENCE NEEDED.

​It’s a relaxed, creative way to slow down, tune into your senses, and compare experiences with others. Meditative and social at the same time, this session offers a gentle way to wind down from the day while having fun with chocolate, color, and a bit of art.

​Arrive between 5:30 -5:45. We will get started at 6 pm.

​Nettie Atkisson is a Level 2 certified chocolate educator whose training spans the International Institute of Cacao and Chocolate Tasting and the Cacao Masterclass in the Dominican Republic. Her learning has taken her across Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic, where she’s listened to growers, walked farms, and studied cacao at its source. Nettie creates gatherings that are intentionally low‑pressure, welcoming spaces designed to help people slow down, relax, and connect through the shared joy of chocolate.
