About Event
The Mt. Adams Prescribed Burn Association (PBA) and Fire Adapted Community Trout Lake (FACT) are collaborating on a community smoke preparedness workshop for West Klickitat County residents.
As a region with high wildfire risk and growing momentum around prescribed fire, smoke preparedness is a critical step to keeping ourselves and our neighbors safe and healthy. Learn about the differences between prescribed fire and wildfire smoke, ways for individuals to protect themselves from smoke impacts, and local and statewide resources.
We’ll also have a DIY box fan filter workshop and free filters for the first 40 participants who sign up. Please invite your friends and neighbors and share widely!
