​I came across Henri Stern's work when doing academic research on privacy vs. UX tradeoffs some years back. Henri wrote with such effortless conviction and clarity that I DM'd him to ask if he wanted to be internet friends.

​At the time, Henri had just left Protocol Labs to start a company called Privy, with an audacious goal that seemed almost countercultural at the time:

​To make privacy accessible not at the expense of happy UX, but precisely because the UX is good — good enough to reach across the web 2 / web 3 divide and unite us all.

​Mad, I know. Except Privy's $18m series A was led by Paradigm this time last year, despite the doldrums of the decentralized downturn. 🥹
