βπ This presentation explores how an AI-native assistant can author and optimize DFMEA and PFMEA across the full product lifecycle, connecting engineering know-how with historical failure data and proven best practices.
βπ FMEAs today are held back by subjective ratings, poorly tracked actions, and static documents that are rarely updated, with up to 80% of workshop time spent on admin and rating debates instead of engineering. The session shows a different approach: multi-agent authoring of the structural and functional analysis, RAG-based retrieval over legacy FMEAs, REX and field data with citations, a structure tree linked to BOM and 3D-CAD, and human-in-the-loop approvals with data-driven S/O/D ratings. The result: up to 75% less FMEA effort, 100% methodology consistency, and FMEA expertise that moves from a few senior experts into a living, reusable corpus.
