Walk in the Park
Keep the conversations going between the Pitch Event and the Summer Party. This short beautiful walk from Green Park to Reading Football Club where the evening party begins.
It gives you time to carry on useful conversations from the afternoon, meet more people from the Reading and Thames Valley tech sector, and arrive at the Summer Party ready for the evening.
This is an optional part of the day. If you’d rather make your own way to the party, that is absolutely fine.
Accessibility and walk
The walk is for approximately 1km through the lovely natural grounds of Green Park on hard standing pathways. There are a couple of bridges and steps along the way. So please keep that in mind when signing up.
Please only register if it is safe and healthy for you to do so.
In event of extreme hot weather
It is is possible we will see very high temperatures on 7th July. If you plan to join the walk bring a hat, sunscreen and a water bottle. We will also provide additional water.
Please only sign up if you are healthy and happy to walk approximately 30 minutes in heat. Walkers take part at their own risk. If we feel on the day that conditions are not appropriate we may need to cancel.
