We're getting back to that with a fun AI-free networking event. No looking things up, no AI conversations, and no tech stack flexing.
The Game:
When you arrive, you'll get 2 trivia-style questions on paper.
Your name tag will show your obsession/passion/expertise.
Someone in the room will have the answer to your trivia questions from their lived experience or native knowledge. You'll have someone else's answers, too.
The goal is to answer both questions via organic, free-range conversation in an hour's time.
Why No AI
Back in the day, knowledge and passions connected us to each other. Interdependence was both a function of survival and of social satisfaction.
We can recreate this natural phenomenon in a room where you can't talk about AI (heavens, please) and can't use it.
