Software Engineering Through Continuous Crisis: What AI Changes and What It Doesn't
We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive Innovators Guild event featuring Dmitry Bagrov, UK Managing Director of DataArt, with a guest lightning talk from Alina Zaiets, ex-DataArt, now Founder of Marketing Pot.
Dmitry will share his perspective on how AI is reshaping the technology services industry — what has genuinely changed across 25 years of continuous disruption, and what has stayed the same. Drawing on his experience leading DataArt's UK business through the dot-com crash, the 2008 financial crisis, COVID, and now the generative AI wave, he will explore the changing role of engineers, the rise of AI-assisted development and "vibe coding," how delivery models are evolving, and why the economics of software services may shift more dramatically over the next five years than they did over the previous twenty.
Alina will follow with a short lightning talk on how marketing has transformed in the AI era - which industries have been most disrupted, which have yet to feel the impact, and how B2B tech companies can prioritise their marketing channels. She brings deep experience working with DataArt clients and now runs her own agency for B2B SaaS brands.
As always, the session will be followed by an open Q&A and informal networking with senior engineers, AI practitioners, founders, and technology leaders from across London. 🤝
