About Event

Join The Rewilding Collective for a guided sensory walk in nature, led by Nature Guide and Forest Bathing practitioner Dina Samra.

Most of Climate Week happens indoors, in conference rooms, under fluorescent lights, discussing a world mostly outside the building. E.B. White wrote it plainly in a 1969 letter: "I arise in the morning torn between a desire to save the world and a desire to savor it. This makes it hard to plan the day."

This event is built on that line. Before the panels, we're gathering in Central Park to actually savor the thing this whole week is about: nature.

Caring for the earth can feel like something carried alone, squeezed between meetings and inboxes. This morning is a chance to carry it in company instead. A guided sensory walk through the park, followed by small group reflection, gives you 75 minutes with people who showed up for the same reason you did.

The Flow

7:45 AM: Welcome at the Boathouse.

7:55 AM: The Sensory Walk. A guided walk through the park

8:25 AM: Small Pods. Groups of four to six move through reflective prompts exploring what it means to be in reciprocal relationship with nature, and how that translates into action.

8:50 AM: Closing Circle.

Who It's For

Climate Week attendees, sustainability and ESG teams, founders and operators working in climate, and anyone whose morning would rather start in the park than in an office :)

About The Rewilding Collective

The Rewilding Collective designs experiential gatherings for founders and leaders through movement, play, creativity, reflection, and time in nature. The premise is simple: showing up fully for your work, your people, and the things you care about starts with taking care of yourself first. Regulating your nervous system and quieting the noise is what builds real capacity, the kind that lets you lead, create, and act from alignment and coherence.

Dina Samra is the founder, a nature guide, facilitator, and speaker who spent 17 years in startup and tech before building this work full time. She developed the Recalibration Method, her own framework for alignment, agency, and coherence, after leaving her career at its peak to understand what her body had been trying to tell her for years. Every Rewilding gathering, from a sauna to a sound bath to a sensory walk through Central Park, starts from the same idea: the more regulated and aligned you are internally, the more capable you become of showing up for what actually matters to you.
