​Join Green Beauty Community Foundation and John Paul Mitchell Systems for the Santa Monica stop of the Green Salon Impact Tour: a day of professional beauty education and practical sustainability conversation at the JPMS Santa Monica Academy.

​Artistic Director and educator Paula Peralta will lead JPMS technical education. Connect your craft with specific, realistic steps you can take in salon operations and communication, from identifying recurring materials and waste to choosing a practical next action for your salon.

​The program also includes an e-waste and community-impact presentation by Hector Contreras of Homeboy Recycling.

​Connect with other beauty professionals and leave with practical ideas for your salon. The education program is free.

​Beach Cleanup | 3–4 p.m.

​We’ll close the day with a community beach cleanup at Tower 15 on Santa Monica Beach. Open to adults 18 and older, with space for up to 50 cleanup participants. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle.
