The "Blackathon" Virtual Hackathon

​Over $5,000 in cash and prizes. Blackathon is a virtual hackathon created to bring together builders, technologists, creatives, and emerging innovators for a day of collaboration, problem solving, and community. Hosted by BlackWPT in partnership with NSBE Bay Area Professionals, Black Women in Tech, /dev/color and Algorythm Org, the event is designed to create space for bold ideas, practical solutions and new connections across the tech ecosystem.

​This year, participants will build around two focus areas: Coding with AI and Technology Solutions". We want to see projects that use modern tools in thoughtful ways, whether that means building intelligent applications, creating accessible workflows or designing solutions that make technology easier to use and more impactful in everyday life.

​Blackathon is open to individuals and teams who want to learn, build and share ideas in a supportive and energetic virtual environment. Participants will have the opportunity to compete for a single prize pool, connect with judges and partners and showcase projects that reflect creativity, technical skill and real-world value.
