Surrounded by towering bookshelves, curated travel logs, and contemporary fiction, this Interlude trading the open sky for cozy, analog warmth. It’s a night built for close-up listening, where acoustic resonance, brilliant storytelling, and vibrant live performance meet in a space usually reserved for quiet contemplation.
We are pairing two incredibly dynamic artists who are bringing entirely fresh energy to this cozy literary backdrop:
Gavriella is a rising pop force known for transforming heavy emotions into cinematic anthems. Seamlessly blending country roots with modern synth-pop, disco, and glam rock, she describes her sound as "romcom-pop"—unabashedly honest, razor-sharp lyricism decorated with sonic glitter. For this special setting, expect her glittering pop narratives to take on a uniquely intimate, storytelling color.
Malpica is a Colombian singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who weaves rich Latin American roots with contemporary live-looping, guitar artistry, and soulful vocals. Exploring poignant themes of migration, identity, and belonging, his performance is a captivating journey of sound. Hearing his live loops and warm storytelling echo through the wooden shelves of a historic bookstore will be nothing short of magic.
