Join us for the official kickoff of GDG Shibuya at the Google Shibuya Office! 🚀
GDG Shibuya is an English-speaking Google Developer Group in Tokyo, bringing together international and local developers, researchers, students, founders, and anyone interested in building with Google technologies.
For our first event, we’re exploring one of the biggest shifts happening in AI development today: how do we move from fast experimentation and “vibe coding” to AI agents and applications that are ready for real-world production?
Expect technical talks, practical insights, demos, and plenty of time to connect with Tokyo’s developer community.

Google Developer Groups (GDGs) are community-led groups for developers and people interested in Google technologies.
GDG Shibuya brings together Tokyo’s international and local tech communities through English-based events, with a focus on AI, Cloud, agentic technologies, developer tools, and practical engineering.
Our goal is to create an open space where developers, researchers, students, founders, and technology enthusiasts can learn, build, share ideas, and connect across communities.
Whether you’re deeply technical or simply curious about where AI development is heading, you’re welcome to join us.
🎟️ Registration & Building Access
Space at the Google Shibuya Office is limited to 99 attendees, so please register only if you’re planning to attend.
If your plans change, please update or cancel your RSVP so someone on the waitlist can join.
Important: For building access, we’re required to submit the full names of all attendees to the Google office three days before the event. Please enter your full name when registering. If your name doesn’t follow a first-name/family-name structure, simply enter your full name as it appears on your identification.
On the day of the event, please come to the Google Shibuya Office, 5th floor and show your Luma registration confirmation at reception for check-in.
