Romanian tech meets US scale
RACC-IT Romanian Tech Meets US Scale — San Francisco
Connecting Romanian ambition with American opportunity.
Join the Romanian-American Chamber of Commerce IT Alliance (RACC-IT) at Adobe Headquarters in San Francisco for an evening of leadership, innovation, and meaningful business connections.
RACC-IT Romanian Tech Meets US Scale — San Francisco brings together accomplished Information Technology executives, founders, and business leaders for candid conversations about building, leading, and scaling technology businesses in the United States.
Whether you are expanding into the American market, growing an engineering organization, exploring strategic partnerships, or looking to connect with exceptional Romanian and American business leaders, this gathering is designed to turn introductions into meaningful relationships and new opportunities.
Why San Francisco?
The San Francisco Bay Area is one of the world's most influential centers for Information Technology innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment. Home to global technology companies, pioneering AI organizations, leading investors, and ambitious founders, the region offers a unique environment for companies seeking to innovate and scale.
Romania has a compelling story to contribute to this ecosystem: exceptional talent, experienced engineering teams, ambitious entrepreneurs, and companies with growing international reach.
This event creates a platform to strengthen the connections between these two markets, exchange practical insights, and build relationships that support long-term business growth.
What to Expect
Three Leaders, Three Perspectives
Hear firsthand experiences from three distinct leadership perspectives: a Romanian executive who has led an organization through significant growth at a US-based company; a Romanian founder who has scaled a business beyond $50 million in annual recurring revenue, with significant US revenue; and a US executive who has built or leads a major engineering organization with a presence in Romania.
Women Shaping the Future of Information Technology
Discover perspectives on innovation, artificial intelligence, leadership, and ethics from a distinguished panel featuring women leaders from Google DeepMind, Databricks, OpenAI, NVIDIA, and Santa Clara University's Markkula Center for Applied Ethics.
Scaling in the US: From Opportunity to Growth
Explore practical approaches to entering the American market, establishing strategic relationships, building competitive advantages, and scaling Romanian companies and professional teams in the United States.
The Romanian Operating System of SF Tech
The Romanian footprint in SF isn't a community, it's infrastructure: engineers powering Series B startups, expansion leads bridging Bucharest and the Bay, US-Romanian operators who've been building quietly for years. SF firms that already run on Romanian talent and don't always know it.
They've never been in one room. That changes now.
RACC-IT is closing the chapter on the scattered community events of the past and opening a new one — a single room where the people actually doing the work finally meet each other.
Who this is for:
Romanian engineers based in SF or the Bay Area
Founders and operators running US-Romanian teams
Expansion leads helping Romanian IT companies land in the US market
SF-based firms that hire, partner with, or want to understand Romanian tech talent
