Who We Are:
ARISE, a new networking community for Asian and Pacific Islander professionals/aspiring professionals in green, sustainability, and environmental fields here in San Diego.
From our own personal experiences, we noticed that there’s a lack of API presence in the aforementioned areas. Both of us believe in a space to represent, connect, and uplift API identities to affirm our collective perspectives and backgrounds.
ARISE was started to bring together members of the diaspora to create a community for professionals interested in building a sustainable future through culture, connection, and environmental stewardship.
Culture: Embrace and share practices from the API diaspora
Connection: Create long-lasting relationships to support API professionals in establishing roots in a purpose-driven career through guidance and mentorship
Environmental Stewardship: Encourage involvement and support for local organizations and causes.
FOOD and DRINK: A variety of food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
