We’re bringing back the same relaxed meetup vibe from last year — a space for XR/AI builders, hackers, creators, organizers, and community friends to hang out, meet new people, and catch up during AWE.

Who’s behind it?
🔹 ICXR
ICXR is a global, student-led network connecting university XR clubs, builders, and partners across the immersive computing ecosystem. Founded by student communities that wanted to share resources and collaborate, ICXR now supports chapters around the world through shared XR knowledge, intercollegiate projects, professional development, community-building, and access to a wider network of students passionate about XR.
🔹 HXR
HXR supports and produces experiential technology programming, including the annual Harvard XR Conference, co-organized with the Harvard GSD XR Club. The conference brings together students, technologists, creators, startups, researchers, and industry partners to explore how immersive and intelligent technologies can reshape learning, healthcare, design, work, culture, and human connection.
Our mission is to propel experiential technology toward a maximally positive role in society by supporting a creator-oriented ecosystem and making ideas for good into reality. Reality Hack currently supports and produces multiple hackathon events, including Reality Hack at AWE and Reality Hack at MIT, its flagship event, alongside the MIT student group VR/AR at MIT, bringing together approximately 600 people from around the world for five days in January in a hackathon-style environment.
🔹 Stanford XR
StanfordXR is the hub for immersive technology at Stanford, uniting builders, researchers, and creators across VR, AR, and AI. The club teaches Stanford's intro VR development course and hosts an annual conference showcasing the future of immersive tech to the Bay Area. Its flagship event, Immerse the Bay, is the largest collegiate XR hackathon on the West Coast, drawing nearly 400 attendees each fall.
Brings together XR, AI, spatial computing, and world model builders through hackathons, workshops, and community programs. Its upcoming hackathon, Worlds in Action Hack [02], is happening in Los Angeles on July 18–19, right before #SIGGRAPH26.
🔹 XR Bootcamp
A professional training school for XR developers and designers—build real-world projects, gain expert mentorship, and break into the industry.
