About the Carbon Markets Breakfast Series
The Nairobi Climate Network, together with Integrity Council for the Voluntary Carbon Market (ICVCM), Climate Impact Partners, FSD Africa, and Bowmans Law, is convening a four-part Carbon Markets Breakfast Series designed to equip early-stage carbon project developers in Kenya with the clarity, tools, and connections needed to bring projects to market.

11 September (complete) – Carbon Principles and Methodologies (ICVCM): Exploring project integrity, certification pathways, and the role of global integrity frameworks.
18 September – Technical Support and Carbon Sales (Climate Impact Partners): Unpacking technical requirements, verification needs, and what buyers look for when engaging new projects.
23 September – Pre-financing and Investment Options (FSD Africa): Understanding capital needs at each stage, pre-financing options, and how developers can prepare for investor readiness.
30 September – Legal and Regulatory Requirements (Bowmans Law): Navigating Kenya’s legal and regulatory landscape, from carbon rights and registration to compliance, tax, and risk management.
