​Sid and Lijie from our Infra Team will walk through real projects in a 20-minute talk, from tackling model cold starts to navigating complex customer environments. Get a look at the infrastructure behind hundreds of millions of pages processed each week, where every customer brings a different puzzle and the work spans infrastructure, platform, and ML.

​Our Speakers:

​I’m Sid, engineer #2 at Reducto. In almost two years I’ve built a lot of our plumbing from scratch, like the LLM service every model call here runs through and the automation that ships releases to our on-prem customers.
I also hold badges to more than one customer’s office, and I’ve spent enough weeks inside their environments that I sometimes know their clusters better than their own engineers do. Ask me about the 2am page from a certain very large company I can’t name.
Off the clock: origami (mostly folding control planes) and reading (mostly docs).

​Lijie is an FDE Infrastructure Engineer at Reducto, where she deploys AI models into complex enterprise environments and makes sure they run reliably and securely in production. Before Reducto, Lijie spent ten years in infrastructure and security engineering at both early-stage startups and large technology companies, including Meta, Gusto, McAfee and Inworld AI.
