Finding Your Path into AI Safety, with Tzu Kit Chan

​There is no single way into AI safety. People come in through technical research, governance and policy, operations, communications, or by founding new organizations.

In this online session, Tzu Kit Chan, Head of Operations at Robocurve, will share about how people get started in the field and how to find the path that fits your background, followed by an open Q&A. He'll give a 30-minute talk, followed by 30 minutes of open Q&A.

About Tzu

​Tzu is Head of Operations at Robocurve and advises decision-makers in Malaysia on AGI preparedness. He has spent 4+ years in the AI safety community. Before Robocurve, he was Chief of Staff at Atlas Computing, did operations for MATS, ran Stanford AI Alignment, and cofounded Caltech AI Alignment. He has also helped seed and mentor 60+ university and national AI safety groups.
