Fireside chat on AI's impact on labour and the economy
SASH is organising a fireside chat with two expert speakers to speak on the topic of "AI's impact on labour and the economy".
As AI capabilities increase and allow it to perform many work tasks, more firms are laying off workers and investing heavily in AI instead. How widespread is this phenomenon, and what impact could it have on the labor market? How can governments prepare policies that can help society manage the economic impacts due to AI? In this fireside chat, the Singapore AI Safety Hub (SASH) has invited two expert speakers to speak on this topic.
