About Event

Join SAAAC for an arts and community celebration of the November 6, 1968 start of the Third World Liberation Front (TWLF) strikes. The TWLF strikes began as Bay Area students were inspired by revolutions throughout the Third World, the Civil Rights movement, and the Black Power movement to build an unprecedented coalition demanding Third World Studies.

57 years later, the iron is hotter than ever: student organizing has been a critical part of revolutionary movements across the world. From Palestine to the Philippines, we must forge unity against imperialism and war!

Join SAAAC and community for arts and crafts at Harmony House that will nourish our creative hearts and minds with revolution. We’ll talk, laugh, and play together as we print linocuts on fabric patches or paper, make buttons, and collectively paint a banner.

Light bites provided!
