About Event

Join us on a visit to see a 2,000 acre CAL FIRE Forest Health Grant project led by Santa Clara County FireSafe Council.  With two grants totaling $15,000,000 from CAL FIRE, Santa Clara County FireSafe Council leads this multi-stakeholder collaboration with San Jose Water, Midpeninsula Open Space District and Santa Clara County Parks that steward the land where the fuels treatments take place.

The FireSafe Council has awarded two separate projects totaling just over 500 acres to BurnBot, utilizing their autonomous mastication technology to efficiently support our landscape level treatments.  The FireSafe Council/BurnBot partnership has proven highly effective, and our event will highlight the project goals, treatment prescriptions, multi-stakeholder collaboration, with Q&A, and a live demonstration of BurnBot's technology.
