신청서를 바탕으로 관심사와 지역, 가격대를 고려해 4인에서 6인 조를 짜드립니다. 연사도 세션도 없이, 오직 대화만 있는 자리입니다.
Bloom Mixer는 이런 자리입니다
Bloom은 AI 얼리어답터를 위한 커뮤니티로, 4월 시작 이후 7,200명의 신청자와 2,800명의 디스코드 멤버가 함께하고 있습니다. Bloom 밋업의 핵심은 세션 이후 약 40분간 진행되는 6인 라운드테이블로, 같은 주제로 행사에 오신 분들이 자연스럽게 대화하고 연결될 수 있도록 돕는 시간입니다.
그동안 정규 밋업에서는 연사 세션과 함께 진행되다 보니 라운드테이블 시간이 다소 짧게 느껴지거나, 랜덤 배정으로 관심사가 다른 분들과 조가 구성되는 아쉬움이 있었습니다. Bloom Mixer는 이 부분을 보완해, 나와 잘 맞는 사람들과 더 오래 더 깊게 이야기 나눌 수 있는 자리를 만드는 데 집중합니다.
AI를 둘러싼 고민, 커리어, 사이드 프로젝트, 창업 이야기 등을 진지하게 나눌 동료가 필요한 분들께 추천드립니다.
진행자 없이 진행됩니다
당일 자리에는 아이스브레이킹을 이끄는 사람도, 정해진 순서나 아젠다도 없습니다. 저희가 하는 일은 조를 짜고 장소를 예약하는 데까지이고, 그다음부터는 모이신 분들이 편하게 대화를 만들어 가시면 됩니다. 운영진이 한 조에 무작위로 들어가게 되는 경우도 있는데, 그때도 진행을 맡지 않고 같은 참석자로 앉습니다.
진행자를 두지 않는 이유는, 누군가 자리를 이끌기 시작하면 나머지는 듣는 쪽이 되기 때문입니다. 네다섯 명이라는 인원은 진행자 없이도 모두가 말할 수 있는 크기입니다.
처음 만난 사이라 어색하실까 싶어, 확정 안내를 보내드릴 때 같은 조가 되신 분들을 한 줄씩 소개해 드립니다. 첫 화제로 삼으셔도 좋습니다.
대화가 막히면 꺼내 쓰세요
규칙은 아닙니다. 처음 몇 분이 어색하거나 이야기가 끊겼을 때만 쓰시면 됩니다.
시작은 짧은 자기소개가 편합니다. 이름과 하는 일, 오늘 이 자리에 오신 이유 정도면 충분합니다.

언어 안내
대부분의 조는 한국어로 대화합니다. 다만 영어가 편하신 분들도 신청하실 수 있도록, 신청서에서 편한 언어를 선택해 주시면 그에 맞춰 조를 배정해 드립니다. 영어로 대화 가능한 분들이 충분히 모이면 별도 조로 구성하고, 조가 만들어지지 않는 경우에는 전액 환불해 드립니다.
한국 분들 중에서도 외국인과 함께하는 자리를 원하시는 분이 계실 텐데, 신청서에서 그렇게 선택해 주시면 그 점을 고려해 배정해 드립니다.
이렇게 진행됩니다
신청은 8월 12일 수요일 자정까지 받습니다. 조를 짜고 장소를 예약하는 데 시간이 필요해서요.
신청서를 작성해 주시면 관심사와 선호 지역, 가격대를 확인합니다.
신청 마감 후 Bloom 운영진이 조를 구성합니다.
조별로 장소를 선정하고 예약한 뒤, 늦어도 모임 당일 오후까지 개별 안내드립니다. 예약은 Bloom 이름으로 되어 있으니, 식당에서 Bloom으로 예약을 확인하시고 안내받으시면 됩니다.
당일에는 4인에서 6인이 모여 편하게 대화를 나눕니다. 진행자는 따로 없습니다.
모임 후 간단한 설문을 보내드립니다.
참가비와 환불
큐레이션 및 예약비 2만 원입니다. 식사와 음료 비용은 포함되어 있지 않으며, 당일 참석자끼리 더치페이로 정산합니다.
모임 후 SNS에 Bloom을 태그해 후기를 올리시고 링크를 보내주시면, 다음 Bloom Mixer에서 쓰실 수 있는 1만 원 할인 코드를 보내드립니다.
환불은 8월 13일 목요일 점심 12시까지 받습니다. 그때까지는 사유를 묻지 않고 전액 돌려드립니다. 마감이 지나면 조 편성과 식당 예약이 이미 끝나 있어 어렵습니다. 다만 저희가 조를 만들어 드리지 못한 경우에는 마감 이후라도 전액 환불해 드립니다.
Luma 결제는 해외 결제로 처리됩니다. 해외 결제가 막혀 있는 카드는 승인이 되지 않을 수 있으니, 결제가 진행되지 않으면 카드사의 해외 결제 설정을 확인해 주세요. 그래도 어려우시면 아래로 연락 주시면 다른 방법을 안내드리겠습니다.
참가 자격
Bloom 밋업에 1회 이상 참석하셨고, Bloom 디스코드에도 참여하고 계신 분을 대상으로 합니다. 아직 디스코드에 안 계시다면 신청 전에 들어와 주세요.
이번 회차는 30명 안팎으로 생각하고 있습니다. 한 공간에 모이는 자리가 아니라 조를 나눠 각각 다른 식당으로 안내드리는 구조라, 하룻밤에 저희가 제대로 챙길 수 있는 조 수에 맞춰 잡은 규모입니다. 신청이 많이 몰리면 조를 더 만들거나 다음 회차로 안내드릴 수 있습니다.
다만 선호하시는 지역이나 가격대, 언어가 맞는 분이 충분하지 않아 조가 만들어지지 않는 경우가 있을 수 있습니다. 그럴 때는 전액 환불해 드리고, 다음 회차로 넘기시길 원하시면 그렇게 해드립니다.
안내드립니다
신청은 본명으로 해주세요. 처음 만나는 분들이 모이는 자리라 서로가 누구인지 확인되는 것이 중요합니다. 연락처도 함께 받는데, 당일 급한 안내가 필요할 때만 사용합니다.
신청자 명단은 어디에도 공개되지 않습니다. 확정 안내를 통해 같은 조가 되신 분들만 알게 되고, 그 외에 누가 신청했는지는 서로 보이지 않습니다.
신청서는 가능하면 최대한 구체적으로 작성해 주세요. 남겨주신 내용을 바탕으로 비슷한 관심사의 분들과 최대한 잘 매칭해 드립니다.
약속한 시간에 맞춰 와주세요. 네다섯 명뿐이라 한 분만 늦어도 자리가 빈 티가 많이 납니다.
한 사람이 오래 이야기하면 나머지는 듣는 자리가 됩니다. 말이 한쪽으로 쏠린다 싶으면 옆자리에 질문을 넘겨주세요.
명함을 돌리거나 무언가를 파는 자리는 아닙니다. 휴대폰도 잠시 내려두고 앞에 앉은 분들과의 대화에 집중해 주시면 좋겠습니다.
한 분이 빠지면 조 전체의 경험이 달라집니다. 참석이 어려워지신 경우 최대한 빨리 알려주세요. 식당 예약과 조 구성을 다시 맞춰야 해서요.
여기서 나온 이야기는 여기서 끝내주세요. 누가 어떤 고민을 했는지는 밖으로 옮기지 않기로 합니다. 그래야 다들 진짜 이야기를 꺼낼 수 있습니다.

Bloom meetups tend to end right as the good conversations are getting started. Bloom Mixer picks them back up.
We read your application, put you at a table of four to six people who share your interests, and book a restaurant that fits the neighborhood and price range you picked. No speakers, no sessions. Just dinner and a conversation.
What this is
Bloom is a community for AI early adopters. Since we started in April, 7,200 people have registered for our events and 2,800 have joined our Discord. The best part of a Bloom meetup has always been the roundtable afterward, where six people sit down and actually talk.
Forty minutes is never enough, though, and the groups are assigned at random. Bloom Mixer fixes both. You get a whole evening, with people we matched to you on purpose.
Come if you want a real conversation about AI, a career move, a side project, or starting a company.
There's no host
No facilitator, no icebreaker, no agenda. We build the group and book the table, and the evening is yours from there. A Bloom organizer sometimes ends up at one of the tables, but as another guest, never as a host.
That's deliberate. The moment someone starts running a table, everyone else turns into an audience. Four to six people is small enough that nobody needs to.
If you're worried about meeting people for the first time, don't be. When we send your confirmation, we introduce everyone at your table in a line each. Start there.
If the conversation stalls
Not rules. Just something to reach for if the first few minutes feel stiff.
Short introductions are an easy start. Your name, what you do, and why you came tonight is plenty.

About language
Most tables will be in Korean. If you would rather have dinner in English, say so on the form and we will seat you with people who are comfortable in English. When enough English speakers apply, we run a table in English. If we can't put a table together that works for you, we'll refund you in full.
Plenty of our Korean members specifically want a table with international guests, and they can say so on the form too.
How it works
Applications close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, August 12. We need the time to build the groups and book the tables.
Fill out the form. We read your interests, your preferred neighborhood, and your budget.
Once applications close, we build the groups.
We choose and book a restaurant for each group, then send you the details by the afternoon of the day itself. The reservation is under the name Bloom, so give that name at the door.
Four to six of you have dinner. No host, no agenda.
We send a short survey after the event.
Cost and refunds
₩20,000, which covers the curation and the booking. Food and drinks aren't included, so you split the bill with your table on the night.
Post a review on social media tagging Bloom after the event, send us the link, and we'll send you a ₩10,000 discount code for the next Bloom Mixer.
Refunds run up to noon on Thursday, August 13. Until then we'll refund you in full, no questions. After that the groups are built and the tables are booked, so we can't. The exception is if we couldn't build a table for you, in which case you get everything back whenever that happens.
Luma processes this as an international payment. Korean cards that block overseas transactions are sometimes declined, so check your card settings if the payment fails, or get in touch and we will find another way.
Who can apply
This is for people who have been to at least one Bloom meetup and are in the Bloom Discord. Not in the Discord yet? Join before you sign up.
We're planning for around 30 people this round. We're not all in one room, so we split everyone across separate restaurants, and thirty is about as many tables as we can look after properly in one night. If more people sign up than that, we'll either add tables or roll you into the next round.
That said, we might not find enough people who match your neighborhood, budget, or language. If we can't build a table for you, we'll refund you in full, or move you to the next round if you'd rather wait.
A few things worth saying
Please register under your real name. Everyone at the table is meeting for the first time, so it matters that people know who they're sitting with. We ask for a phone number too, used only if something urgent comes up on the day.
The guest list is never public. You'll find out who's at your own table when we send your confirmation, and that's as far as it goes. Nobody can see who else applied.
Be specific on the form. The more you tell us, the better we can match you.
Please arrive on time. With only four to six people, one empty chair is very noticeable.
If one person talks at length, everyone else becomes an audience. When the conversation tilts one way, pass a question to the person next to you.
This is not a place to hand out business cards or sell anything. Put your phone away and talk to the people in front of you.
If one person drops out, the whole table changes. Tell us as soon as you know you can't make it, so we can adjust the booking and the group.
What's said at the table stays at the table. Please don't carry anyone's story outside the room. That's what makes it possible to talk about the real things.
Drink as much or as little as you like, and please don't push anyone else to.
We'll send a short survey afterward. Not about who was there, but about what fell flat and what you'd change. It feeds into how we run the next one.
