Python Fundamentals & OOP: Write Your First Object-Oriented Program
Description
Object-oriented programming (OOP) is the way most real-world software is built, from web apps to AI systems. It's also where many beginners get stuck.
In this beginner-friendly virtual masterclass, you'll review the Python fundamentals and then move step by step into OOP. You'll learn what classes and objects are, why they matter, and how they help you write code that is cleaner, reusable and easier to scale. By the end of the session, you'll have written and run your own object-oriented Python program.
What you'll learn
The core Python building blocks: variables, data types, functions and control flow
What classes and objects are, and how to model real-world things in code
How to use attributes, methods and the
__init__constructorAn introduction to the four pillars of OOP: encapsulation, inheritance, polymorphism and abstraction
How to structure a small program the way working developers do
Who should attend
Complete beginners who want a solid start in Python
Self-taught coders who know some Python syntax but haven't used OOP yet
Aspiring software engineers, data scientists and AI developers
Students getting ready for a coding bootcamp or technical interviews
What to bring: A laptop with Python installed, or a free Google Colab or Replit account. You don't need any OOP experience.
