vcIQ: Dual-Use Founder Session
vcIQ Founder Sessions is a curated, small-group conversation series designed to give founders building at the intersection of commercial innovation and national security direct access to the investors funding them.
Each session brings together 2-3 active investors and a room of 15-20 founders for an interactive, off-the-record discussion focused on how capital actually moves within dual-use technology and defense.
This is not a panel and there are no formal presentations. The format is conversational, candid, and founder-driven.
Part of the FORGE event series, we will be joined by:
Sam MacGregor, Leonid Capital Partners
TBA
They will share perspectives from the front lines of dual-use and defense investing, including:
What categories and capabilities are getting funded right now
Where government and commercial buyer demand is accelerating
How investors evaluate early traction when the customer is a program office, a prime, or both
Common fundraising mistakes founders make when pitching dual-use
How dual-use and defense companies are being valued and structured
What investors believe is coming next across the defense innovation landscape
Founders will have the opportunity to ask direct questions, pressure-test their positioning, and engage in open discussion with investors actively deploying capital into companies strengthening domestic capability and national competitiveness.
Space is highly limited to maintain discussion quality. We will not be able to accommodate everyone, but we look forward to bringing together a strong and relevant group of founders building technology that matters.
This session is presented in partnership with Arlington Economic Development and the National IQ.
