Lunch & Learn: Claude Code, Understanding AI Access and Safety
Lunch & Learn: Understanding AI Access & Safety in the Age of Vibe Coding
With Prashasti Kapadia, Software Engineer and former AI startup co-founder & CTO
15th June, 12- 13
Join us for an online Lunch & Learn with Prashasti Kapadia.
Prashasti will talk about Claude Code: Understanding AI Access and Safety.
AI tools are making it easier than ever to turn ideas into products, websites, and apps — even without a technical background. Many of us start on platforms like Lovable, and then reach for coding assistants like Claude Code or Cursor to keep building. That jump is exciting, and it's also the moment the stakes change: these assistants can read, change, and delete files on your actual machine and codebase.
This session is about making that transition confidently. Drawing on real recent incidents, Prashasti will unpack a simple mental model anyone can use to keep building fast while staying in control. You will leave understanding how to carry a vibe coded project forward into a real coding assistant, what permission prompts actually mean, and how to avoid the nasty surprises along the way. No technical background needed.
Event Format
• 20–30 min talk
• Open Q&A and discussion
• Optional networking at the end
About the Speaker
Prashasti Kapadia is a software engineer with 11+ years building products across B2B SaaS, consumer platforms serving millions of users, and AI-powered tools. She has been an early engineer at startups, worked with Fortune 500 clients, and most recently was the technical co-founder and CTO of an AI company. She works hands-on with the same vibe coding platforms and AI coding assistants this session covers, which gives her a rare vantage point: deep enough technically to know what these tools are really doing under the hood, and close enough to everyday building to explain it in plain language.
