Hosted By Her: The Art of Creating a Home - Designing spaces that support rest, creativity, & connection w/ Chika
This special workshop by our community member Chika explores how our living spaces influence three key areas of life: rest, creativity, and community. We will reflect on how your current home supports (or drains) your energy and leave with practical ideas to rebalance your space.
The format would include a short framework, guided reflection, and a collaborative discussion where we look at real spaces and brainstorm improvements together.
A bit about Chika:
"I’m a human-centered designer with a background in mechanical engineering, and I’ve spent the last 7 years working across tech, government, and nonprofit organizations. I’ve also taken interior design coursework through Parsons School of Design. Outside of my day job, I love exploring how environments shape how we live and feel."
Come join us on Sunday morning, May 31 in Clarendon, VA! You can get there by metro (Clarendon stop - silver and orange lines) or driving/rideshare (there are street parking and garages nearby).
