Agent Games: Main Street Edition is a 72-hour online hackathon where you build something better: an AI agent that helps real customers find what they need, choose the right option, and take the next step, whether that means booking an appointment, making a purchase, or requesting a quote.
Choose one of 3 tracks, find a real English-speaking business in that category, and build its AI agent on Agentplace.

Medspa & aesthetic clinics: goal, budget, event date and downtime tolerance lead to 2–3 treatment options with prices, ending in a booked consultation.

Open track: any niche from our list (e-bikes, adventure tours, outdoor gear, bridal boutiques, roofing, cameras & audio, smart home), ending in a booking, a purchase or a quote.

The three templates are concept businesses we built to show what good looks like. Open one, press Remix this agent, and the builder will ask for your real business's website and adapt the brand, catalog, prices and policies.
Medspa rule: your agent never gives medical advice and never promises results. It helps choose services to discuss and books the consultation; the provider decides suitability.
Language: pick a business with an English-language website. Your agent must talk to customers in English.

2. Before Dec 4, pick your track and a real English-language business in that niche.
3. On Dec 4 at 12:00 PM PT, remix a template (or start fresh) and build the business's agent on Agentplace.
4. Submit by Dec 7 at 12:00 PM PT.
Every agent must:
answer customers' real questions about the business;
help them choose the right service or product;
collect the customer's details;
take them all the way to a booking, a purchase or a quote request.
Extra points for using search, skills, connected agents, voice, or anything we didn't expect.
Submission (all required)
A link to your published, working agent.
A 30–90 second demo video.
A public post on X or LinkedIn tagging Agentplace (@agentplace_io on X, @agentplace-io on LinkedIn) with #AgentGames. No post, no submission.
3–5 sentences: which business, what job the agent does, what you're proudest of.
A consent checkbox: you agree that Agentplace may feature your agent in its public gallery with credit to you, show it as an example to businesses in sales materials, and use it in social media content about the hackathon.
Rules
Solo or teams of up to 2. One agent per builder, one prize per agent.
Build during the event window. You can pick your business and plan before Dec 4.
Keep the "Built for Agent Games" badge on your agent until winners are announced on Dec 10.
Your agent is based on a real business, but in the gallery and our materials it's shown as a concept for the niche (for example, "Booking agent for a medspa"), without the business's logo or name, and labeled as not affiliated with that business.

Each agent can win one prize only. We’ll award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place first, then select the track winners from the remaining eligible agents. Open-track agents compete for 1st–3rd place and the Most Buzzworthy award.
Every nominee gets extra exposure: we’ll create a short video and social post showcasing their agent, tag the builder, and share their work with our audience.
Want to build with us? The strongest builders may get the opportunity to join Agentplace. We’ll invite selected candidates to interview with the founders.

Judging criteria
Each criterion is scored from 1 to 5, then weighted to calculate the final score.
Ready for a real business (25%): Could you show the agent to the business owner tomorrow?
Agentic behavior (25%): Does it take the customer from a question to a meaningful outcome, such as a booking, purchase, or quote request?
Design and UX (20%): Does it fit the business’s brand and work well on both desktop and mobile?
Use of Agentplace (15%): Does it make effective use of platform capabilities such as search, skills, connected agents, and voice?
Reliability and safety (15%): Does it work without dead ends, provide accurate prices and policies, and handle questions safely?
Meet the judges
Vlad Yanch, Co-founder & CEO, Agentplace. Vlad leads product and vision at Agentplace, the platform for AI agents that serve customers. Under his lead, Agentplace launched three times on Product Hunt and twice became #1 Product of the Day, including #1 Product of the Week in March 2026. Before Agentplace, Vlad co-founded Machinet, an AI coding assistant featured by OpenAI and acquired by Zencoder. Earlier he led data analytics and Live Ops at Wargaming, the studio behind World of Tanks. He holds an MSc in engineering, did PhD research in AI, and writes The Agentic Web, a weekly newsletter about AI agents for real businesses.
Eugene Sorokin, Co-founder & CTO, Agentplace. Eugene builds the technology behind Agentplace agents: how they reason, use tools, and turn a conversation into a real result for customers. Before Agentplace, he was CTO of Machinet, the AI coding assistant acquired by Zencoder, and spent nearly ten years as a senior software developer at IBA Group.

FAQ
Do I need to code? No. You build by describing what you want to the Agentplace builder. Coders can go further with tools and integrations.
Do I need permission from the business? No. You build a concept based on its public website. In our gallery it's shown as a concept for the niche, not as the business's official product. If you want to pitch it to the owner afterwards, that's up to you.
Can I use a business outside the US? Yes, as long as its website is in English and your agent talks to customers in English.
Can I pick a niche that isn't in the list? No. Choose one of the three main tracks or a niche from the open-track list.
Can I start before Dec 4? Pick your business and plan anytime. Build your agent during the event window.
Do I have to use a template? No, but it's the fastest way to a polished agent. Press "Remix this agent" on any template to get your own copy.
Is it free? Yes. Registered builders get a single-use promo code for 100% off any Agentplace plan, and the free Luna model is available to everyone. Codes arrive by email on Dec 4 at kickoff. One code per person: reusing or sharing it gets the account banned.
