FAQs
Do I need prior AI experience?
No. VibeCon India is open to everyone. You just need a good idea and the ability to think methodically. Non-technical people are welcome.
Can I join without a team?
Yes. Solo participants are welcome. You can also form teams of up to 3-4 people.
Will there be food and accommodation?
Food and beverages will be provided at the venue throughout the hackathon. Accommodation is your own responsibility, though you can stay overnight at the venue if you choose to keep building.
What if I can't stay overnight?
That's completely fine. Overnight building is optional. You can leave and return the next morning to continue working on your project.
How does judging work?
All participants will build during the hackathon. The top 10 teams will be shortlisted to pitch on stage to a panel of judges. From those 10, judges will select the top 3 winners.
Is participation free?
Yes, there is no participation fee. However, travel and personal accommodation costs are not covered.
What's the structure of the hackathon?
Detailed agenda to be released soon. The event runs from February 21st (8 AM) to February 22nd (8:30 PM) with building blocks, meals, mentor sessions, and final demos.
What support will I get while building?
Our team members will be on-site to help troubleshoot app issues or address any queries you may have.
What do I need to bring?
Your laptop, charger, and anything you need to stay productive and comfortable during the hackathon (especially if staying overnight).
