Seattle Computer Vision Meetup
Calling all computer vision practitioners, researchers, and curious minds in the Seattle area! For our very first meetup, we’re keeping things open-ended: no rigid agenda, no lightning-talk sign-ups.
What to Bring
A problem you’re wrestling with (model performance, data labeling, tooling, etc.)
A cool trick or insight you’ve discovered in PyTorch, Triton, OpenCV, vision-language models, etc.
Questions you’ve been dying to ask the CV community
Ideas for collaborations, datasets, or future deep-dives
How It Works
We’ll kick things off with 5-10 minutes of quick intros—your name, what you work on, and one thing you’re most excited to talk about. Then the floor is yours: shout out a topic, demo something on your laptop, or float an open question. If people gravitate toward one thread, awesome: run with it. If you’d rather break into small groups, that’s fine too.
We want authentic, spontaneous conversation—no forced talks or slides. This is a sandbox for sharing wins, troubleshooting roadblocks, and sparking new ideas together. Future meetups can evolve however the community wants: themed nights, guest speakers, hack sessions... you name it!
Pizza will be provided—enjoy a slice (or three) while we chat computer vision.
