Reproductive Health and Herbalism

​Taught by certified professional midwife, Betsy Merbitz, this workshop will go over basic physiology of the menstrual cycle and how herbs and other remedies can support. It will include information about using cycle tracking, herbal support for fertility, and herbal contraception. Some herbs will be available tor tasting, and you will be able to create your own blend to take home. All levels of medical knowledge welcome!​

​Meet Your Instructor:

​Betsy Merbitz is a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM), Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and herbalist. Betsy provides holistic services throughout the life cycle, including massage, childbirth education, herbal healing, and more.

​As a massage therapist, she specializes in manual Lymphatic Drainage and neurolymphatic massage, as well as massage techniques for chronic illness. She loves offering multimodal healing sessions that incorporate massage and herbal medicine.

​Betsy is passionate about equity and justice in holistic healthcare. She is a street medic with Chicago Action Medical and is licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
