Regional Community of Practice: Ontario (Session 1)
Safer experiential learning spaces require collective action.
The Courage to Act Foundation is convening work-integrated learning (WIL) and experiential learning (EL) professionals from across Ontario for a virtual regional Community of Practice focused on student safety and harassment prevention.
This first session will explore policy and legislative recommendations that better protect students from sexual harassment during co-ops, internships, labs, clinical placements, and other experiential learning opportunities.
In this session, participants will:
Share knowledge and promising practices from across Ontario
Engage in professional development with peers
Identify emerging regional priorities
Begin building connections to support collaboration through 2026 and beyond
Sessions are free to attend; there are no prerequisites.
These sessions are for professionals who support, teach, or host Canadian postsecondary students. If you want to connect with others committed to harassment prevention and student safety, we hope you’ll join us!
