About Event

Before registering, please ensure that you have read and understand our Events 'No Show' Policy. If you are unsure that you will be able to make it, please refrain from signing up and allow the spot to go to someone else. Since this is a partner-led event, a 'no-show' will result in removal from the community, meaning you won't be able to attend future events.

University and graduate spots left only.

We’ve teamed up with deverellsmith, one of the leading recruitment firms in real estate, to bring you practical CV and interview coaching. deverellsmith are best known for placing top talent into residential and development roles at firms such as Berkeley Group, so they know exactly what employers at the highest levels are looking for.

Even though they typically recruit at experienced levels, their insights are invaluable for students and graduates starting out, helping you avoid the common mistakes early in your career journey and understand how the best candidates position themselves.

This is a hands-on workshop where you'll learn how to:

  • Learn what makes a CV stand out and what makes it fall flat from a recruiters perspective;

  • Practice interview questions and receive live feedback;

  • Gain insights on how recruiters assess candidates and what top employers want to see;

  • Build confidence in presenting yourself in an in-person setting.

This workshop is for students who are actively applying now or preparing to apply to degree apprenticeships, graduate schemes, or entry-level roles. Priority will be granted to university students and graduates, but those in sixth form/college can still register.

⚠️ Please note: This is not an event to quietly observe. You’ll be expected to participate, ask questions, practice, and make the most of the opportunity.
