About Event

New this year: an artistic collaboration with Nathalie Tappin (NAT), bringing women’s health stories into the room through art.

Because women’s health deserves space for deeper conversations, shared learning, and practical insights.

We’re excited to return with our community event, Understanding Women’s Health — this time with a refreshed format based on your feedback.

In previous editions, we hosted a classic panel discussion. This time, we’re opening the room even more.
Alongside a short keynote, we’re introducing roundtable conversations, giving you the chance to explore the topics that matter most to you in smaller, guided groups before we come back together for shared insights.

Women’s health is broad, personal, and interconnected. Our goal is to make space for all of it — from cycle health and fertility to postpartum recovery, perimenopause, mental health, and beyond.

What to Expect

The evening will include:

A short opening talk
Setting the stage on why women's health matters — for our energy, mood, productivity, long-term wellbeing, and our workplaces.

Topic-based roundtables
You’ll choose one table to join based on your interest. Facilitators will guide the conversation, helping you uncover insights, practices, and shared experiences.

Select your roundtable preference already today! Fill in this survey.

A collective panel moment
Each roundtable will share key takeaways, challenges, and ideas. Our experts will reflect on these themes, followed by a short Q&A.

Networking & connection
After the guided part (1.5 hours), we’ll have time for informal conversations, questions, and meeting the speakers.

Roundtable TopicsSelect your roundtable preference today! Fill in this survey.

We’ll confirm the final topics closer to the event, based on your preferences.

From the questions we receive at every session, you can expect this year’s conversations to include themes such as:
- Menstrual health (PMS, PMDD, PCOS, cycle awareness)
- Perimenopause, menopause & postmenopause
- Pregnancy & postpartum recovery
- Fertility, periods, and birth control
- How to involve men in the conversation
- Mental health & hormonal health
- Stress, sleep & lifestyle
- …and potentially new topics based on your input

Before the event, we will ask about your preferred area of interest to help us shape the final table setup.

Since roundtable conversations require more space to facilitate well, we expect a slightly smaller group, so if you’d like to join — don’t wait until the last moment to reserve your spot.

Who Should Attend

This session is open to everyone — women, men, partners, professionals, and anyone curious about improving their own health or supporting the women in their lives.

It’s especially valuable for:
- Anyone wanting to better understand their body and wellbeing
- Men who want to learn how to be supportive partners, colleagues, or leaders
- HR, People & Culture, and Wellbeing teams
- Managers interested in building inclusive workplaces
- Anyone navigating the Three Ms: Menstruation, Motherhood & Menopause

Here is the refined Speakers section with your updates integrated:

Speakers

We’re pleased to already confirm three experts who will guide this year’s conversations — each bringing deep expertise from clinical, hormonal, and behavioural perspectives on women’s health.

Dr. Henk-Peter Oonk — Physician | Healthy Longevity Medicine
Dr. Henk-Peter will open the evening with the keynote, setting the stage on how women’s health connects to long-term wellbeing, prevention, and performance. His work focuses on integrative, evidence-based approaches to health and longevity.

Dr. Melianthe Nicolai — Urologist | Medical Sexologist | Researcher
Dr. Nicolai specialises in sexual health and the impact of hormonal and medical changes across life stages, including menopause. Her work focuses on restoring wellbeing, intimacy, and quality of life through personalised, science-based care.

Sharon Asscher — Nutritionist | Orthomolecular Therapist | Hormone Consultant | Microbiome Therapist
Sharon works at the intersection of nutrition, hormones, and gut health, translating scientific insights into practical, personalised strategies that support women’s hormonal balance, metabolic health, and long-term wellbeing.

After the keynote, each expert will host a dedicated roundtable, allowing for deeper, small-group conversations and practical exploration of the topics that matter most to participants. Following the roundtables, the lead experts will return for a short panel to share key insights and reflections, with time for live Q&A.

More experts will be announced shortly.

✨ Special Artistic Collaboration — Nathalie Tappin (NAT)

We’re especially excited to share a new element of this year’s event.

For this edition of Understanding Women’s Health, we are partnering with Nathalie Ayesha Tappin (NAT) — a multidisciplinary artist and designer whose work many of you already know and love.

Nathalie’s paintings have been enriching the walls of Equals during our events for as long as we can remember, and it feels incredibly special to now welcome her into the program more directly.

Exclusively for this evening, Nathalie has created a series of artworks exploring the intimate landscape of women’s health — from the complexities of perimenopause to the cyclical journey of the menstrual cycle. Her work offers a powerful visual narrative of experiences many women still go through in silence.

Nathalie will be with us from 17:30, preparing a special artwork for the session, and she’ll be available for questions, reflections, or simply a chat.

If you’re already a fan of her work (or curious to discover it), we warmly encourage you to arrive early and take time to experience her art in person, with Nathalie there herself.

About the Organiser

This event is hosted by 3mbrace Health (formerly Mamamoon).
Our mission is to support women at every phase of life — the Three Ms: Menstruation, Motherhood, and Menopause.
We do this through workplace programs, expert-led sessions, community events, and digital tools.

Our first digital solution, the Mamamoon app, supports women in the Motherhood phase, helping them prepare for birth and postpartum with yoga, breathing, mindfulness, nutrition, and lifestyle guidance.

We believe women deserve tailored support at every stage of their health journey — and together, we’re reshaping how women experience their health.

"You don't need to have ovaries to care about women's health."
