Yummy Future Hackathon Festival
Yummy Future Hackathon Festival
Presented by Yummy Future · Sponsored by AWS
📅 October 23–25, 2026
📍 South Bay + Online Worldwide
☕ Sip. 🤝 Meet. 🛠️ Build. 🏆 Compete.
Your next teammate might be one coffee away.
For three days, Yummy Future brings together the energy of a café, the curiosity of a demo floor, and the excitement of a hackathon. Explore new tools, meet the people behind them, collect Mission Card stamps, and turn a useful idea into something you can show.
Come with a team or find one here. Bring a problem from work, your neighborhood, or everyday life. Local businesses are welcome to share the challenges they would love someone to solve.
Join us in the South Bay—or build alongside us from anywhere in the world.
🎟️ Your Mission Card: A Festival Passport
Pick up your Mission Card at check-in and make your way through the café: meet people at the challenge boards, ask a question at a sponsor station, share what you are building, and collect stamps as you complete your missions.
Every stamp marks a step from “I just arrived” to “Look what we made.”
Here is how the planned on-site missions work:
Day 1 · Find Your People 🤝
Check in, complete your participant profile, and collect your badge → unlock your Coffee Pass.
Complete a verified team-matching action and update your status → unlock your Food Pass.
Register your team, choose a challenge, and submit your one-line idea → qualify for the announced sponsor gift or prize-draw activity.
Day 2 · Make It Work 🛠️
Check in and share your team’s daily plan → unlock your Coffee Pass.
Show a working prototype, meaningful code, an API integration, or another verified build milestone → unlock your Food Pass.
Complete a sponsor integration or put mentor advice into practice → work toward sponsor rewards. Share a 60-second progress video or join a scheduled team interview for additional reward opportunities.
Day 3 · Show What You Made 🏁
Check in and complete your final submission → unlock your Coffee Pass.
Pass your technical check and join your judging room on time → unlock your Food Pass.
Complete your final demo → finish your last mission and qualify for the announced sponsor gift.
Meet someone. Try something. Show your progress. Earn your next unlock.
Mission rewards require staff verification. Menus, quantities, sponsor gifts, and any prize-draw rules will be announced before the event.
🤝 Sponsor Office Hours Throughout the Day
Have a question you would normally leave unanswered? Bring it straight to the people behind the product.
The festival will feature a rolling program of Office Hours across participating sponsor companies during event hours. Each sponsor will have scheduled support slots, with café meeting points and Zoom access for remote participants.
You can:
Explore a product or API through a live walkthrough.
Ask about a challenge, integration, or technical blocker.
Join a short team consultation to work through your next step.
Take that advice back to your build—and turn it into your next Mission Card milestone.
Check the sponsor boards for times and scan the QR code to join the queue. Public Q&A sessions will be recorded; individual team consultations stay private unless the team agrees otherwise.
📺 Live Demos, All Day Long
There is something to follow throughout the event day: sponsor product demos, quick project showcases, team progress updates, and conversations with the people doing the building.
Watch on the café screens, join a scheduled show-and-tell segment, or follow online. Public segments will be livestreamed and recorded, with replays and highlights capturing how projects develop across the weekend.
The early demos are a chance to share work in progress. Sunday’s finalist demos are where teams compete for the awards.
🏆 Chase the Grand Prize
Take your project from a whiteboard conversation to a live demo—and compete for the grand prize.
The planned awards program also includes sponsor challenge awards, recognizing how teams turn technology into useful solutions.
Grand prize details, sponsor prizes, and final award categories are coming soon.
Judges will look at the problem you solve, product execution, originality, meaningful technology integration, business potential, and the clarity of your demo.
