About this event
This event is designed especially for researchers and designers. We plan to have an equal mix of 50% designers and 50% researchers in the workshop.
Please consider this when we're managing attendance, so we can ensure a balanced representation of both groups.
Bring your own food & beverages
Since we don't have a sponsor for food and beverages, it's a good idea to have a proper meal before coming or bring some food along. Maybe you can also bring a little extra to share with others! Water will be available.

The Method
Future Scoping is a structured reflection method used in strategy and innovation to explore how fields evolve over time.
Instead of reacting to change as it happens, participants step back, examine emerging shifts, envision possible futures, and reflect on how they want to position themselves within those futures.
It is not about prediction, but rather about gaining agency and foresight in these turbulent times.
Why This Workshop
UX field is changing.
The way we work, the tools we use, the expectations placed on us — all are evolving.
Many UX practitioners are asking themselves:
Where is this field heading?
What might UX Design and Research look like in 3–5 years?
What kind of role would I like to have in that future?
This workshop offers a space to pause, zoom out, and think together.

Exposure to multiple possible future directions of the field
Reflection on their own strengths and aspirations
Greater clarity about how they would like to evolve
