Zines: Storytelling Techniques
Have an idea for a zine, but aren't sure how to make it happen? Join us for this session where you can develop a zine from beginning to final draft in a collaborative, encouraging group setting.
We will cover:
• How to edit your idea to make it fit in a small zine format
• Different ways to lay out and organize your zine
• How to storyboard your idea so the creation process is quick and easy
This event is great for writers, artists and anyone with a story to tell! Some experience with zine making is preferable, but we love working with beginners too if you're up for a challenge!
Come prepared with a few possible ideas or sources inspiration (drawings, notebooks, blurbs etc) so that you can start storyboarding. 💡💡💡
