Rethink Food 9th Anniversary Benefit Show

Join us on Sunday, October 25th for Rethink Food’s 9th Anniversary Benefit Concert at Union Pool to celebrate nine years of bringing restaurants and communities together to nourish New Yorkers in need. Since 2017, Rethink Food has provided more than 35 million meals to food-insecure communities and invested more than $157 million in local restaurants.

We are incredibly excited to be joined by acclaimed New York rapper Wiki, whose most recent album Ancient History, delves deeper into his signature rhymes of introspection and hyper-detailed musings about the city we all know and love. NYC experimental post-rock band Saudi Oil and Brooklyn rapper & songwriter Kahiem Rivera open the show, with DJs Akwasi Brenya-Mensa and Fabienne spinning all night, plus special remarks from Rethink Food partners and limited light bites provided by Zaab Zaab.

🕰️ Light Bites & Remarks 4-6 / Live Music 6-9 / DJs All Night

Union Pool is known as one of Brooklyn’s most historic venues for live music, but they also run a weekly food pantry and have partnered with Rethink Food since the pandemic to provide vital groceries and hot meals to our neighbors in need. Join us to celebrate and highlight that longstanding partnership and raise critical funds to continue our work in the community.

Please note: RSVP does not guarantee entry to live music. Venue entry will be provided on a first-come first-served basis.
