She's Geeky, AI Edition: First Convening at SF Human + Tech Week
A 1-day open space technology unConference. 200+ women. No keynotes. No panels. You set the agenda. You lead the conversation.
AI is being shaped by whoever talks loudest and ships fastest.
We’re creating a different kind of space. She’s Geeky, AI Edition gathers women working in, alongside, and in spite of AI, to share what they actually know. Not rehearsed keynotes. Not curated talking points.
The real questions, the hard-won insights, the pattern recognition that comes from navigating systems that weren’t designed with women in mind.
That is the expertise this moment needs. And we need you! You should be in the room if you are:
Working in AI — building, deploying, governing, or researching it
Working alongside AI — in a role or industry being reshaped by it
Thinking critically about AI — its impact on your community, your children, your planet
Feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or unsure — and looking for women who understand
Carrying expertise — technical, lived, cultural, strategic — that this conversation needs
You do not need a technical degree. You do not need to be an AI expert. You need to care about the future that AI is shaping — and be willing to bring what you know into the room.
ABOUT US:
She’s Geeky: AI Edition is a Human + Tech Week (HTW) partner event offering a different type of container. Join our Open Space Unconference at the close of HTW on Friday May 15, when we co-create a safe space for women in AI and technology to integrate what they’ve encountered during the week, and in their work more broadly.
Rather than preset panels, participants surface the conversations most urgent to them: power dynamics, ethical friction, burnout, leadership pathways, collaboration models, and what human thriving should mean in practice.
Visit shesgeeky.og to meet our conveners, learn about our history of hosting She’s Geeky events from 2007-2017, and explore more about our unique format.
We look forward to seeing you on May 15th!
