Field Trip: The World Around Summit at MoMA
Slow Construct invites you to our first field trip! We're headed to the MoMA for The World Around—an architecture summit bringing togethers architects, designers, and thinkers across the built environment, climate, technology, and culture.
Whether you're already part of the Slow Construct community or interested in meeting architect-makers and likeminded creatives, come hang and stroll through the MoMA for a day entirely dedicated to the world of architecture.
We’ll meet in the MoMA lobby at 4:30pm ahead of Session 3, head in together, and move through the program at our own pace.
Session 3 (5-6PM)
Michael Kimmelman is the architecture critic for The New York Times and the founder and editor at large of Headway.
Alejandro Aravena is partner and executive director of Elemental, a socially motivated architecture practice based in Santiago, Chile.
Tatiana Bilbao founded her eponymous studio in 2004 with the aim of integrating research, community-based design, and responsible construction.
Leila Bozorg is the Deputy Mayor for Housing and Planning in New York City, where she leads citywide housing and land use strategies that guide NYC’s growth and affordability agenda.
Please note: tickets to the Summit are required - they are free - and should be purchased individually here.
