About Event

Join us for our second annual post-ROSCon hackathon after ROSCon Global 2026 in Toronto! This is your chance to work with our ROS, Gazebo, Open-RMF, ROS Control, and Infrastructure project leaders in person to improve our projects. We'll spend the day reviewing open pull requests and tackling issues in our backlog. If you have never contributed to an OSRF project, this is your chance to learn how!

The day will open with an hour-long tutorial session where we'll give you the ins and outs of reviewing pull requests to OSRF projects and guidance on how to submit your first pull request. We'll then spend the rest of the day working to improve the open-source tools used by robotics professionals across the globe. We'll end the day with a quick awards session where we'll hand out limited-edition OSRF swag to our top contributors.

VERY IMPORTANT: Pre-registration is MANDATORY and must be completed no later than the end of the day on September 22nd. Please bring your identification with you, as it is required to enter the building. If your full legal name differs from the one you provided to Luma, you MUST notify the organizer via the chat function. We need your full legal name (i.e., the name on your passport or driver's license) for access to the building.
