After a full day of youth-focused climate events, join the Department of Climate Change, Energy, Environment and Water's Youth Advisory Council for International Climate Change (YAC) for an afternoon of reflection and connection.
This is your chance to step back from the day's conversations and come together to share what you've learned, what's inspired you, and what needs to be advocated as calls to action for the government to take meaningful climate action. Whether you've been energised by new ideas or are processing complex challenges, this is a space to reflect collectively and think about what comes next.
Over drinks and snacks, we'll create an informal space for you to listen, share your thoughts, and connect with fellow young changemakers. You'll also have the opportunity to learn more about the YAC and our role in shaping government engagement under the UNFCCC, including young people's participation in COP31.
We'll host the conversation for the first hour to kick things off, then open it up to everyone who wants to stay and continue the yarn. Come solo or bring some friends to wrap up a busy week with some good conversations, shared reflections and the chance to be part of a community building up local climate action efforts to higher levels. The event is free entry with the option to self-purchase drinks and food at the venue.
By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organisers of Climate Action Week Sydney. Your information will not be shared with third parties.
