For managers, the question is no longer simply, “Should we use AI?”
The more important questions are:
• How should managers adopt AI without creating chaos?
• What work should be automated — and what still requires human judgment?
• How do we help our teams build AI skills?
• How will AI change hiring, performance management, and career development?
• What does good leadership look like when technology is changing faster than organizations can adapt?
CIE & Career Up Club is bringing together a curated group of managers for an evening of meaningful peer conversation, practical learning, and professional connection.
This is not a lecture or traditional networking mixer.
Participants will rotate through small groups of 3–4 managers and discuss real-world leadership challenges, exchange experiences, and learn from peers navigating the same transformation.

Meet experienced people managers from different companies, industries, and functions.
💡 Three Small-Group Conversation Rounds
Each 15-minute round will explore a different aspect of managing in the AI era.
Possible discussion topics include:
Round 1 — AI Adoption
What AI use case is already changing how your team works?
Round 2 — People & Skills
What skills will managers and employees need most over the next 2–3 years?
Round 3 — Leadership Challenges & Action
What is the hardest part of AI adoption: technology, people, process, trust, or something else? What is one change you plan to make in your team or leadership approach because of AI?
🧠 Reflection & Shared Learning
At the end of the networking rounds, each participant will briefly share:
One idea I learned today
One perspective that surprised or challenged me
One action I plan to take
