Book Discussion: An Unlasting Home
โWelcome to our Book Discussion
โIn this book club meetup we discuss a book that we(โve) read together.
โThis time we discuss a book from Kuwait ๐ฐ๐ผ (West Asian region): An Unlasting Home by Mai Al-Nakib. Read about the book here.
โTogether we'll create an open, inclusive space where everyone gets to share their experiences they've had with the book โ reflections, insights, perspectives, and opinions. All experiences are welcomed!
โYou are encouraged to make it your own (open and informal) conversation about the book. There will also be some prompts available to help guide and/or deepen the conversation.
โNote: availability of English books at local book stores and libraries can be somewhat challenging, so make sure that you start looking into how and where to get your copy as soon as you can! If you struggle to find this book, you can reach out to us: [email protected] or via Instagram DM.
โOur (flexible) program:
โ15:00-15:30 Arrivals, ordering drinks & treats and introduction
โ15:30-16:30 Book Discussion
โ16:30-17:00 Shares & Wrap-Up
