Post-Labor Weekly Forum: Exploring the Future Beyond Work

A weekly discussion space for builders, researchers, and curious thinkers designing the transition into a post-labor world.

AI is accelerating faster than our institutions can respond. Knowledge work is being reshaped, physical automation is scaling exponentially, and new coordination mechanisms are emerging faster than society can absorb. Rather than waiting for disruption to arrive, this community meets every week to explore what comes next—and to build toward it.

What We Do Each Week

Every session focuses on one timely theme drawn from the Post-Labor Thesis, including:

  • Economic distribution — UBI pilots, community currencies, wealth-sharing mechanisms

  • Governance innovation — AI-assisted democracy, liquid democracy, quadratic funding

  • AI-enabled coordination — distributed orgs, protocol-based resource allocation

  • Digital representation — personal AI agents, data sovereignty, agency amplification

  • Social infrastructure — belonging, purpose, contribution in a post-employment world

We blend discussion, case studies, small-group exploration, and open Q&A. Whether you’re ideating your first pilot or refining an active experiment, this is where builders compare notes, pressure-test concepts, and discover collaborators.

Who This Is For

  • Researchers testing hypotheses on economic or governance systems

  • Engineers and founders exploring AI-native organizational models

  • Policy thinkers and civic innovators interested in experimentation-driven change

  • Anyone excited about shaping a future where human flourishing is decoupled from compulsory labor

No prerequisites. Bring your curiosity, your questions, and your prototypes—early thinking is welcome.

Why It Matters

We’re entering the steep part of the curve. Humanoid robots, reasoning systems, and autonomous agents will transform production within a generation. The window for proactive design is now. A post-labor society won’t emerge by theory alone—it will emerge from experiments, pilots, and shared learning.
