βThis episode of Darda(she) is dedicated to the stories we carry across borders, generations, and selves. Within Risvolte - The Festival of Yesterday and Todayβs Feminisms, we come together to reflect on what it means to be a woman in diaspora β not in theory, but through lived experiences.
βThe workshop opens as a storytelling circle, where participants share personal or familial migration stories: of departure and arrival, rupture and continuity, of what is lost, kept, and reshaped over time.
βFrom there, we move into a collective mapping exercise, tracing these movements across geographies and timelines. As routes take form on the map, individual experiences begin to resonate with one another β sometimes overlapping, sometimes diverging, sometimes revealing unexpected proximities.
βTogether, weβre building a shared cartography where diaspora unfolds not only as distance, but as a living space of connection, memory, and transformation.
βOpen to Arab women across generations, and to anyone who feels close to this space.
βNo preparation needed, come as you are π»
βYalla, see you there β¨

βrisvolte is a feminist, intergenerational and multidisciplinary festival conceived as a slow-release journey.
βthe second day of the festival addresses consciousness raising as a political and relational practice, bringing feminisms from different generations into dialogue.
βthe project is curated by @matassa.collettiva, made possible through the support of @fondazionecompagniadisanpaolo as part of the SparkZ grant programme, and suported byΒ @casa_delle_donne_torino.
