——————

This episode of Darda(she) is dedicated to the stories we carry across borders, generations, and selves. Within Risvolte - The Festival of Yesterday and Today’s Feminisms, we come together to reflect on what it means to be a woman in diaspora β€” not in theory, but through lived experiences.

The workshop opens as a storytelling circle, where participants share personal or familial migration stories: of departure and arrival, rupture and continuity, of what is lost, kept, and reshaped over time.

From there, we move into a collective mapping exercise, tracing these movements across geographies and timelines. As routes take form on the map, individual experiences begin to resonate with one another β€” sometimes overlapping, sometimes diverging, sometimes revealing unexpected proximities.

Together, we’re building a shared cartography where diaspora unfolds not only as distance, but as a living space of connection, memory, and transformation.

Open to Arab women across generations, and to anyone who feels close to this space.

No preparation needed, come as you are 🌻

Yalla, see you there ✨
