Dip Your Toes In: Intro to Play Parties with Tristan Taormino

​Are you curious about sex and play parties but don’t know where to begin? And what do you do once you get to one? What should you expect? It’s common to have anxiety about going to a sexy party, so Tristan Taormino created this online workshop just for you!! We’ll talk about confidence building and how to ask for what you want. We’ll do some icebreaker exercises (which are not mandatory). This is a consent-focused event open to people of all genders and sexualities. It’s designed for folks who are party-curious, party newbies, or shy folks looking to up their game at parties.

​Tristan Taormino is an author, sex educator, speaker, and host of the podcast Sex Out Loud. She is the author of 8 books and editor of 25 anthologies. Her latest is a memoir, A Part of the Heart Can't Be Eaten. She hosted her first sex party in 1999 in New York City, and she is one of the co-founders/co-creators of Dark Odyssey. She has created and produced sex and play events for thousands of people, and she is currently the Director of Education at fwb.
