🎮 IxDF Edmonton November Meetup: VR Playtest hosted by vrCAVE

​Step into a virtual world with us this November! Our friends at vrCAVE are opening their doors to host IxDF Edmonton for a special playtest of one of their VR escape-style adventures.

​Debug your way from devastation! In our latest title, your team of 2 - 4 are hired engineers tasked with saving the world’s most important computer system from a malicious virus. Dive into the mainframe and solve the systems in order to remove the virus once and for all!

​We’ll be running the playtest in groups of four, with each session lasting about 45 minutes of gameplay plus a short buffer in between. Time slots run from 2 to 7 pm, and we can host up to 20 participants over the afternoon. Please plan to arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled start time so we can get you set up.

​This is a free playtest, but do keep in mind that your gameplay data will be recorded, and the vrCAVE team may ask a few questions afterwards about your experience.

​Whether you book a spot with friends to form your own team or sign up solo to meet new people, you’ll get the chance to test an immersive VR adventure and connect with Edmonton’s UX and design community.
