Reflecting Repetition

​Seyff is excited to host the opening ceremony for Solena Aguilar's "Reflecting Repetition" month long exhibit.

​Reflecting Repetition is an exhibition about using repetitive action to embrace our complexities. With art from the past seven years and materials collected over eleven years, this show tells the story of how artist and author, Solena Aguilar, has used materials accessible to them to understand what it means to be a complex person. For the first time, Aguilar discusses their obsessive-compulsive disorder diagnosis and how coming to terms with this part of themselves, especially as a Nicaraguan and Trans/Queer person, has allowed them to further understand the person reflected back at them.
