✨ Featured Workshop: The Female Founder’s Nervous System
Alyssa Steiger, PsyD — Leadership Psychologist | Executive Coach | Co-Founder, MindSight Leadership
Dr. Alyssa Steiger is a licensed clinical psychologist and leadership coach who brings nearly two decades of experience helping individuals and teams navigate complexity, build emotional resilience, and lead with purpose. With expertise in applied neuroscience and the psychology of stress and decision-making, she helps leaders unlock clarity and confidence in high-pressure environments. Alyssa's background blends business and behavioral science. She studied business before earning her doctorate in psychology and has held leadership roles as a clinical director, educator, and founder. She also co-owns Thought Partners, a group psychotherapy practice in the Bay Area, and founded Agewise, a nonprofit providing free therapy to low-income older adults. At MindSight Leadership, Dr. Steiger supports leaders in building emotional intelligence, cultivating trust, and fostering high-performing, psychologically safe teams.
The Female Founder’s Nervous System is an interactive workshop designed specifically for women building and leading companies.
Drawing from clinical psychology, entrepreneurship, leadership coaching, and applied neuroscience, Dr. Alyssa Steiger will explore how the founder experience can shape the way we respond to stress, make decisions, lead teams, and navigate uncertainty.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore:
🧠 Understanding the founder stress cycle and nervous system
🌿 Recognizing patterns of hypervigilance, over-responsibility, and burnout
🤝 The challenge of delegation and the “if I don't do it, it won't get done right” mindset
💭 How stress can influence decision-making, creativity, and leadership
⚡ Practical, neuroscience-informed strategies for regulation and recovery
✨ Building sustainable high performance without losing your ambition
Through guided reflection, practical frameworks, and meaningful group conversation, the workshop will create space to better understand your own patterns and develop tools to navigate the emotional demands of entrepreneurship with greater awareness and resilience.
🧘♀️ Meet Your Facilitator
Aisha Asanova — Yoga Instructor, Corporate Professional & Community Builder
With 15+ years of experience in the corporate world, Aisha understands the pace, pressure, and constant demands that come with building a career, leading initiatives, and striving for ambitious goals. Throughout her professional journey, she has also discovered the importance of creating space to pause, listen to yourself, and stay connected to what truly matters.
Her passion for yoga, mindfulness, and community comes from a personal belief that success is not only about what we accomplish, but also about how we feel along the way. She believes that taking time to care for ourselves, reconnect with our inner wisdom, and cultivate emotional resilience helps us show up more fully — both in our work and in our lives.
Through her yoga practice and community-building work, Aisha is passionate about sharing the tools and practices that have helped her feel more grounded, present, and connected. Supporting the Sisters Female Founders community is a meaningful opportunity to bring these worlds together: creating a space where ambitious women can step away from their everyday responsibilities, reconnect with themselves, and find support among women who understand their journey.
For Aisha, this retreat is about more than yoga or meditation. It’s an invitation to slow down without losing your ambition, make space for yourself while building something meaningful, and remember that you don't have to do it all alone.
